See where shoppers abandon the cart

Four events cover the path from product to order. Respectlytics shows the funnel per session, the paths that end in a completed checkout, and the step where most carts are left behind.

14-day free trial, no credit card. The demo runs on sample data, no signup.

The events

Send each one at the moment on its right. The names are a suggestion; keep whatever pattern you already use.

product_viewed A product page appears
cart_item_added An item goes into the cart
cart_viewed The cart opens
checkout_started The first checkout step appears
checkout_completed The order is confirmed

The calls, per platform

One line per event. Configure the SDK once at launch, as each install guide shows.

Respectlytics.track("product_viewed")
Respectlytics.track("cart_item_added")
Respectlytics.track("cart_viewed")
Respectlytics.track("checkout_started")
Respectlytics.track("checkout_completed")

The questions these events answer

Choose checkout_completed as a conversion event, and these appear in the dashboard.

Where carts are left
The funnel from product_viewed to checkout_completed, with the step that loses the most sessions.
What ends in an order
The most common sequences of events in sessions that completed a checkout.
Where checkout is slow
The time from checkout_started to checkout_completed, compared by platform.
When people buy
Conversion by hour of day and by country.

What stays in your order system

Amounts, products and customers are already there.

Respectlytics stores event names, never order values, product IDs or customer details. Read revenue and best sellers in your order system, and use Respectlytics for the steps that lead to an order.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers, including the ones that might send you elsewhere.

Can I see order value or revenue?

No. Respectlytics stores event names, not amounts. Revenue belongs in your order system, which already has it.

What about a cart finished in a later session?

It counts as a separate session. The funnel shows checkouts completed within one sitting, which is where most friction shows up.
